As I’m sure you’re already aware, fat loss is the number one reason people seek out a personal trainer.
However, it’s not uncommon for my clients to achieve their fat loss goals and move on to more fitness orientated goals to help them stay motivated and to encourage them to enjoy long term health and fitness.
Although, that’s not to say to I won’t focus on improving your fitness from the start, because I will.
After all, as your fitness increases so will your health and as a consequence your weight will naturally decline.
What is FitRanX™?
FitRanX™ is a comprehensive and standardised fitness ranking system used to gauge individual fitness levels.
This is not a system based on how long you have been exercising or how much you think you may have improved.
This is a REAL ranking system that has taken years to develop and perfect.
How does FitRanX™ work?
FitRanX™ works through standardised fitness testing.
There are 8 FitRanX™ levels with corresponding colours that represent each level.
This means that a person aiming for level 5 in London has to accomplish the very same standard of fitness as a person with level 5 in New York or Sydney.
Much like the ‘black belt’ system in martial arts, just without the ‘wax on, wax off’ stuff or catching flies with chopsticks (have you seen the film Karate Kid?).
This ranking system helps you stay motivated and gives you specific short term goals to strive for while ensuring that you are achieving balanced, full-body fitness and, of course, weight loss.
To progress from one level to the next, all you have to do is participate in a short fitness challenge that uses a whole host of exercises to assess your strength and cardiovascular fitness.
Here is the level 2 fitness challenge for men aged between 16-35 years old.
Think you can handle this?
Don’t worry if not, there are different challenges for different ages groups and men and women.
However, with a bit of time and effort I’ll have you flying through these challenges with ease.
